Richard is a PhD student at the School of Science and Engineering, CUHK-Shenzhen. Prior to his PhD, he obtained his BSc degree in Statistics from CUHK-Shenzhen.

His current research interests include sequential decision-making with Bayesian optimization, probabilistic machine learning, and AI4Science.

Aside from his research, Richard is passionate about using data to tell captivating stories. He actively shares his insights on data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence through his writing.
